Firewall

Il firewall è un sistema di difesa che protegge i computer dagli attacchi. Attraverso il controllo degli accessi, i firewall permettono il collegamento tra due o più reti in modalità sicura. I cosiddetti "personal firewall" sono programmi installati sui computer privati che filtrano le informazioni in entrata e in uscita da quel computer specifico.

A firewall is a defence system that protects computers from attacks. By controlling access, firewalls allow two or more networks to connect securely. So-called "personal firewalls" are programs installed on private computers that filter the information entering and leaving that specific machine.

Oltre alla riservatezza dei codici di identificazione, in LifePassport la sicurezza è garantita da un sistema di criptazione. Criptare i dati significa alterarli in modo che siano leggibili e utilizzabili solo da chi possiede le chiavi di decodifica. La crittografia impedisce l'accesso alla banca dati contenente le informazioni sanitarie e fa in modo che i dati inseriti non siano visibili da nessun altro utente. Si applica in tutte le pagine in cui vengono richiesti dati personali o sanitari, o in cui si effettuano operazioni finanziarie.

Beyond the confidentiality of the identification codes, security in LifePassport is guaranteed by an encryption system. Encrypting data means altering it so that it can be read and used only by those who hold the decryption keys. Encryption prevents access to the database containing health information and ensures that the data entered is not visible to any other user. It applies to every page where personal or health data is requested, or where financial transactions take place.

LifePassport utilizza la tecnologia SSL Extended Validation, che offre ai visitatori un modo semplice e affidabile per verificare la credibilità dell'operatore online: solo i certificati SSL con Extended Validation (EV) mostrano, nei browser supportati, il nome della società titolare del certificato e dell'autorità di certificazione che lo ha emesso.

LifePassport uses SSL Extended Validation technology, which gives visitors a simple, reliable way to verify the credibility of the online operator: only SSL certificates with Extended Validation (EV) display, in supported browsers, the name of the company that owns the certificate and of the certification authority that issued it.

Il nostro Data Center principale si trova in Svizzera, presso una Server Farm con infrastruttura VPS in alta affidabilità (HA) che adotta i più moderni criteri di sicurezza. Alimentazione elettrica, sistemi antincendio, linea internet, condizionamento, monitoraggio e sicurezza dei locali rispondono ai più elevati standard internazionali, e ogni possibile criticità è dotata di molteplici sistemi di backup.

Our main Data Center is located in Switzerland, in a Server Farm with a high-availability (HA) VPS infrastructure that adopts the most modern security criteria. Power supply, fire-suppression systems, internet line, air conditioning, monitoring and physical security all meet the highest international standards, and every potential point of failure is covered by multiple backup systems.

Ogni host utilizza un software che mantiene un "heartbeat" con gli altri nodi dello stesso cluster: la perdita di un solo heartbeat avvia automaticamente le procedure di ripristino su altri nodi. Lo stesso vale per le macchine virtuali. Attivando la cartella sanitaria digitale, il Titolare esprime consenso informato al trasferimento dei propri dati in Svizzera per la conservazione e l'archiviazione su server ivi ubicati, nei limiti e con le modalità indicate nell'informativa sulla privacy.
