To do this we turned to emergency medicine specialists, contacted family doctors and specialists across the various healthcare disciplines, and worked alongside the healthcare professionals who operate in emergency situations every day. We analysed every aspect and set out to deliver effective, innovative solutions — and so the LifePassport project was born!

Schede appositamente studiate Ti aiutano a elencare i ricoveri e gli interventi chirurgici sostenuti, le malattie infettive delle quali hai sofferto, le patologie che Ti sono state diagnosticate, le terapie che segui abitualmente (compresa la posologia dei farmaci), le Tue allergie e intolleranze. LifePassport mette a disposizione dello staff medico le principali informazioni del Tuo profilo sanitario in multilingua, superando così le barriere linguistiche ed evitando fraintendimenti che possono complicare la diagnosi e ritardare gli interventi.

LifePassport has a simple, intuitive interface and guides you as you fill in your digital health record. Purpose-built forms help you list hospital stays and surgical procedures, the infectious diseases you have had, the conditions you have been diagnosed with, the therapies you follow routinely (including medication dosages), and your allergies and intolerances. LifePassport makes the key information in your health profile available to medical staff in multiple languages, overcoming language barriers and avoiding misunderstandings that can complicate diagnosis and delay treatment.

Le informazioni sul Tuo profilo sanitario possono essere inserite e gestite da Te, oppure puoi decidere di farti assistere dal personale sanitario di Tua fiducia o, in modo automatico, dagli Operatori Professionali che fanno parte del network LifePassport PRO. Così non avrai l'incombenza di aggiornare personalmente il Tuo profilo: ovunque Tu sia potrai far gestire o semplicemente inserire singole informazioni o referti nella Tua cartella sanitaria digitale, nel completo rispetto della Tua privacy.

The information in your health profile can be entered and managed by you, or you can choose to be assisted by healthcare staff you trust — or automatically by the Professional Operators who are part of the LifePassport PRO network. This way you don't have the burden of updating your profile yourself: wherever you are, you can have individual pieces of information or reports managed or simply added to your digital health record, in full respect of your privacy.

LifePassport è il cuore del servizio e rappresenta la cartella sanitaria digitale dell'Utente. Abbiamo studiato un modello di cartella completo ed esaustivo, che implementiamo di continuo per rappresentare il Tuo profilo sanitario.

Our service is built on two interfaces: the first is called LifePassport, the second LifePassport PRO. LifePassport is the heart of the service and represents the User's digital health record. We have designed a complete, comprehensive record model that we continually develop to represent your health profile.

LifePassport si basa sull'utilizzo di due card: la PRIVATE CARD e la MEDICAL CARD. La PRIVATE CARD Ti consente di modificare i dati della cartella sanitaria digitale. Per creare e aggiornare il Tuo profilo Ti sarà chiesto di identificarti con due parametri: il Tuo username (l'indirizzo e-mail fornito in fase di attivazione) e il codice riportato sulla PRIVATE CARD. Questo meccanismo Ti protegge anche se l'e-mail collegata al Tuo profilo fosse vittima di attacchi: nessun accesso è possibile senza il codice della PRIVATE CARD.

LifePassport is based on two cards: the PRIVATE CARD and the MEDICAL CARD. The PRIVATE CARD lets you edit the data in the digital health record. To create and update your profile you will be asked to identify yourself with two parameters: your username (the e-mail address provided at activation) and the code shown on your PRIVATE CARD. This mechanism protects you even if the e-mail linked to your profile were attacked: no access is possible without the PRIVATE CARD code.

La MEDICAL CARD consente invece la sola visualizzazione dei Tuoi dati sanitari, senza poterli modificare. L'accesso avviene inserendo il codice riportato sulla tessera. Tieni la MEDICAL CARD sempre con Te, così da averla facilmente a portata di mano in caso di emergenza.

The MEDICAL CARD, on the other hand, allows your health data to be viewed only, without editing. Access is granted by entering the code shown on the card. Keep the MEDICAL CARD with you at all times so it is readily available in an emergency.

Switzerland ranks highly on factors we consider very important for the security of your data: in particular, it is among the world's leading countries for political stability, energy security and low risk of natural disasters.

Le nostre card sono dotate di codici di identificazione: in caso di smarrimento o furto potrai bloccare immediatamente i codici di accesso con la funzione Blocca card e richiedere l'invio via e-mail dei nuovi codici. Se qualcuno tenta di accedere alla Tua cartella con il codice MEDICAL, un'e-mail Ti avvisa. Oltre alla riservatezza dei codici, la sicurezza è garantita da un sistema di criptazione dei dati: neanche il nostro personale può decriptare i Tuoi dati sanitari.

Our cards carry identification codes: in case of loss or theft you can immediately block the access codes with the Block card function and request new codes by e-mail. If someone tries to access your record with the MEDICAL code, an e-mail alerts you. Beyond the confidentiality of the codes, security is guaranteed by a data-encryption system: not even our staff can decrypt your health data.

In caso di incidente o infortunio il paziente può essere disorientato o privo di coscienza: avere la MEDICAL CARD sempre a portata di mano o ben visibile nel portafoglio permette al personale sanitario di accedere alle informazioni del Tuo profilo anche quando non sei in grado di fornirle direttamente. Che Tu sia vicino a casa o in vacanza in una località esotica, ovunque ci sia una connessione a Internet lo staff medico può avere un quadro completo della Tua situazione sanitaria collegandosi a www.lifepassport.org, selezionando la lingua, cliccando su "Accesso di Emergenza" e inserendo il codice della MEDICAL CARD.

In the event of an accident or injury a patient may be disoriented or unconscious: keeping the MEDICAL CARD within reach or clearly visible in your wallet lets healthcare staff access the information in your profile even when you cannot provide it yourself. Whether you are close to home or on holiday in an exotic location, wherever there is an internet connection medical staff can get a complete picture of your health situation by going to www.lifepassport.org, selecting the language, clicking "Emergency Access" and entering the MEDICAL CARD code.

Protecting your health data is our highest priority. We are a Swiss company operating through servers located there and protected by the most sophisticated anti-intrusion methods. Una volta entrato in modalità compilazione tramite la PRIVATE CARD, LifePassport Ti guida nella creazione del Tuo "passaporto della salute": le informazioni sono organizzate in sezioni, strutturate da esperti della salute per raccogliere i dati necessari e sufficienti a rappresentare un quadro clinico preciso. La raccolta è semplice e guidata, chiunque può farlo. Ti consigliamo di essere il più accurato possibile: maggiore è il dettaglio, più veloci e mirate saranno le diagnosi. In caso di dubbio, chiedi aiuto al Tuo medico di famiglia, al Tuo operatore sanitario di fiducia o a uno dei centri che aderiscono al network LifePassport PRO.

Once you enter editing mode with the PRIVATE CARD, LifePassport guides you in creating your "health passport": the information is organised into sections, structured by health experts to collect the data needed to represent a precise clinical picture. Data entry is simple and guided — anyone can do it. We recommend being as accurate as possible: the greater the detail, the faster and more targeted diagnoses can be. If in doubt, ask your family doctor, a healthcare professional you trust, or one of the centres in the LifePassport PRO network.

Grazie a LifePassport PRO puoi autorizzare uno o più Operatori Professionali ad accedere contemporaneamente alla Tua cartella, ciascuno con un diverso livello di autorizzazione:

Thanks to LifePassport PRO you can authorise one or more Professional Operators to access your record at the same time, each with a different level of authorisation:

• Opzione base: l'Operatore può solo caricare gli esami e i referti da lui prodotti ed eventualmente consultarli in futuro; non può vedere il resto della cartella né i referti di altri operatori. È l'impostazione predefinita quando aderisci al network di un Operatore.
• Opzione visualizzazione: all'opzione base si aggiunge la possibilità di visualizzare — senza modificare — l'intera cartella sanitaria digitale.
• Opzione modifica: consente di gestire la cartella senza limitazioni (tipicamente concessa al proprio medico di fiducia).

• Basic option: the Operator can only upload the exams and reports they produce and consult them later; they cannot see the rest of the record or reports from other operators. This is the default setting when you join an Operator's network.
• View option: in addition to the basic option, the ability to view — without editing — your entire digital health record.
• Edit option: allows the record to be managed without restrictions (typically granted to your trusted doctor).
